IIONEWS- Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand student under the flagship of IMT-GT UNINET held Virtual Student Leadership Forum 2021 (21/4) on 9 AM Jakarta Time. This event is one of the implementation of collaboration which is attended by students from partner universities including ITERA’s students. This event aims to discuss several updates and highlighted issues.
In this discussion, the students of three countries discovered topic: “Studying and Learning Post Pandemic.” This topic related to many sub-questions which were interesting like “Will E-learning be effective for post-pandemic?” This question divides them into two opinions.
It conveyed by one of the students, Manishaa Devi, that E-learning is depend on digital device access.
“It’s a good platform. After the whole school is shut, we can use this to ensure the continuation of education.” She said
Contra opinion is conveyed by other students that E-learning has its big challenge like lack of interaction, time management challenge, and environment distraction.
Other than that question, they also discuss the impact of online class certificates to get a job, and The etiquette of online class, Various applications using online classes like Zoom, Google Meet or Webex, and so forth. Besides, participants are allowed to introduce themselves and develop their capabilities, confidence in socializing, and most importantly, building a global network.
